Is the 3D packaging designer free to use?
Yes, completely free with no sign-up. Design as many boxes as you like, download your preview as an image, and only talk to us when you want a printed quote.
Which box styles and sizes can I design?
Three styles are available: mailer boxes (the fold-over lid boxes used for e-commerce), tuck-end product boxes for retail shelves, and standard shipping cartons. Choose from 22 ready-made sizes - including Royal Mail large-letter and small-parcel friendly options - or type any custom size from 20 mm up to 1200 mm.
Can I choose the colour and finish?
Yes. Preview your box in kraft brown, white, black, navy, forest green, burgundy, terracotta, sage, blush or any custom colour, with a matte or gloss finish - and choose a plain or printed interior, because inside printing is available on all our corrugated styles. When we print the real thing we match your exact brand colours and advise on lamination.
Should I choose single wall or double wall board?
Single wall board (three paper layers) is light and ideal for most e-commerce and postal packaging. Double wall board (five layers) adds a second row of fluting for heavier or fragile products and extra stacking strength. The designer shows the wall thickness change in 3D, and we advise on the exact board grade when we quote.
Can I see a flat template (dieline) of my box?
Yes. Right beside the 3D view (just below it on a phone) the designer shows your box unfolded flat, drawn to your exact measurements with cut lines solid and fold lines dashed - it updates live as you change the style, size, colour or logo, and you can download it as a picture. For production we supply the exact FEFCO cutting template with your quote.
Can I put my own logo on the box?
Yes. Upload a logo image (PNG with a transparent background works best) and it appears on the box instantly. The image stays on your device - nothing is uploaded to our servers until you choose to send us a quote request.
Are the sizes internal or external dimensions?
Treat the sizes as internal (usable space) dimensions in millimetres, in the order length x width x height. When we produce your boxes we double-check every dimension with you before anything is printed.
