What paper weight is best for waffle cone sleeves?
We recommend 250gsm to 280gsm virgin SBS cupstock. It delivers the ideal balance between structural firmness (so the sleeve doesn't collapse under customer grip) and flexibility (so it wraps cleanly around the cone's curved taper).
Can you manufacture paper sleeves for sugar cones as well as waffle cones?
Yes. Sugar cones require a narrower taper angle and a smaller top aperture (around 45–50mm) compared to wide waffle cones (60–75mm). We have standard tooling for both cone profiles.
