Is your wax paper and greaseproof paper safe for direct food contact?
Yes. All our food wrapping papers are certified for direct food contact. We use food-safe inks that do not migrate into food, and all material safety data sheets are available on request. Our papers comply with UK and EU food contact material regulations.
What is the difference between wax paper and greaseproof paper?
Greaseproof paper has a dense fibre structure that naturally resists grease — ideal for bakery products, sandwiches and fried foods. Wax paper has a wax coating applied to one or both sides, giving superior grease resistance for very oily or wet foods. We offer both, and can advise on which is best for your specific food type.
Can I get eco-friendly or compostable food wrapping paper?
Yes. We offer unbleached kraft greaseproof paper (a natural brown finish, popular with artisan and farm brands), FSC-certified white greaseproof, and certified compostable wrapping papers for zero-waste food businesses.
What sizes can you cut the sheets to?
Any size you need — we cut sheets to your exact dimensions so your team can wrap quickly without measuring or cutting in the kitchen. Common sizes include 25×35cm (sandwich wrap), 35×50cm (deli sheet) and 45×65cm (large basket liner). Just tell us your requirements.
What is the minimum order for printed food paper?
Our minimum order is 500 sheets. This is typically a one to three month supply for a small food business. For restaurant groups and catering companies, we supply wholesale quantities from 5,000 sheets with significant per-sheet cost savings.
Can I print a full-colour pattern or illustration on my food wrap?
Yes — we print full CMYK designs on food wrap, including all-over patterns, illustrations and photography. This is popular with artisan food brands, gourmet delis and farm shops who want their wrapping paper to become part of the brand aesthetic.
Do you offer basket liners sized for my specific trays?
Yes — we produce pre-cut basket liner sheets in any size to fit your serving baskets, wooden boards or metal trays. Many of our food service customers send us their basket dimensions and we cut sheets to fit precisely.
How long does it take to print and deliver?
